These terms outline the agreement between you (“Client”) and Clear Crafted (“Designer”) for web services.
1. Services
We provide web design, development, and support services as agreed upon in your proposal or contract.
2. Payment Terms
- 50% deposit due before work begins (unless otherwise agreed)
- Remaining 50% due upon completion or before website goes live
- Late payments may incur a fee of [£25 per week]
3. Revisions
Two rounds of revisions are included unless stated otherwise. Additional revisions may be charged at £50 per hour or at a price discussed.
4. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide content, images, and feedback in a timely manner.
5. Ownership
For subscription-based websites, all design, code, and infrastructure remain the property of Clear Crafted. You are granted a license to use the website as long as your subscription remains active.
If you choose to cancel your subscription, the website and associated files will be taken offline unless otherwise agreed.
Website Buyout
Clients have the option to purchase the website outright at any time. A buyout fee will be agreed upon based on the original scope and remaining contract value. Once paid in full, ownership of the website (excluding third-party assets/plugins) will transfer to you.
Lump Sum Websites
Once full payment is received, you own the completed website design and content. We retain the right to showcase the project in our portfolio.
6. Subscription Terms
For subscription-based websites, a minimum commitment of 12 months applies. After this period, subscriptions will continue on a monthly basis unless cancelled with 30 days’ notice.
For maintenance-only plans, a minimum commitment of 3 months applies.
7. Money-Back Guarantee (Design Phase Only)
We offer a money-back guarantee during the initial design phase.
If, after providing feedback on up to two rounds of homepage or design concept drafts, you are not satisfied and choose not to proceed, we will refund your payment in full.
This guarantee only applies before development begins. Once a design is approved or the build begins, the project is non-refundable.
8. Cancellations
If the project is cancelled by the client, any deposit is non-refundable. Work completed will be invoiced accordingly.
9. Liability
We are not liable for loss of business or damages caused by website downtime, bugs, or misuse after handover.
